Total Solar Eclipse Video from White Rock Lake in ...
Author Last Post

Let's see if this can be linked. I was able to upload my video of the eclipse to YouTube. Scroll up to about 1 minute and 55 seconds. Totality starts at approximately 2 minutes and 55 seconds and ends at about 6 minutes and 48 seconds. Run video to about 9 minutes and 25 seconds. Some interesting comments including from some nearby spectators that we shared the view with.

My 3rd successful total solar eclipse

1st - Cruise ship "Jubilee" off the coast of Mazatlán, Mexico in July, 1991

2nd - Bank of the Missouri River in Chamois, MO in August, 2017

3rd - This one, in Dallas, TX (April 8, 2024)

Plus the annular eclipse in late May, 1984, on the center line near New Orleans

In view of the dire weather forecast, the eclipse last week was special.

There will be another one that passes right over New Orleans on May 11th, 2078. I won't see that one, I would be 125 years old!frown.gif
