The Pontchartrain Astronomy Society (PAS) is a non-profit astronomy club of individuals and families mostly from southeastern Louisiana and southern Mississippi. PAS members come from many walks of life and have diverse interests in astronomy and strive to enhance the study and enjoyment of astronomy.

PAS members hope to promote an understanding and appreciation of astronomy in our community, sharing their time and telescopes to engage the public with unique astronomy experiences.
