The first meeting at our new "Base of Operations" - the East Bank Regional Jefferson Parish Library on West Napoleon in Metairie is now history.
The meeting went very well in spite of weather challenges. Some of us were anticipating lower attendance than what we wanted due to the weather but we were pleasantly surprised. By my count we had 31 in attendance when the meeting started promptly at 7 pm. Some report that a few more attendees arrived so we could have had 34 or 35 in attendance plus we had a handful more on our Zoom connection. (Zoom worked very well.)
Our presentations for the night ended right at 8:00 pm and the meeting was adjourned at 8:32 pm.
Everyone that the officers talked to seem to be happy with our new venue.
