Note - a few changes - the other group who would be there at the same time as us has moved their stay to the fall. So (as of now) we have an exclusive. This may impact our ability to reach the threshold numbers we need to qualify for meals.......but James has lowered that threshold for us. For each meal we have to have 15 people purchasing meals. If we are close to that number (within 2 or 3) the Deep South will subsidize.
We are adding a $10 registration fee this year as we will have a few door prizes and we will provide programs if needed/requested. Possibly due to cloudy skies, we will see.
Please note the early registration fee deadline on the registration form which is May 1st.
Also note, as has been said after the fall Deep South, we cannot tolerate the somewhat casual disregard for the light rules we have in place for the benefit of all. Excuses will not be tolerated. Come to the Spring Scrimmage before nightfall and either have your vehicle totally light compliant before arrival or make it so when you arrive in daylight. If that cannot be done, you will have to park your vehicle by the lodge or cottages and keep it there. Additionally you have to have a red shielded light and we are forbidding red lights which strap to the head. They are too bright and when you speak to someone nearby you are typically looking at them so they get your light in their face and we have had too many complaints about that. Please read the rules and follow them!
