Our names are Anabelle and Charlotte Hallahan, and we are 14 and 12 year old sisters who love astronomy! Our family does astrophotography with a telescope we received for Christmas two years ago, and we enjoy taking pictures of the cosmos. As we got better at astrophotography, we thought it might be fun to make greeting cards with the photos we took on them. We recently started a business (called A&C Astrocards) selling space-themed greeting cards on Etsy. Our greeting cards include astronomy photos that our family took ourselves, a space-themed greeting on the front, and a QR code on the back, which links to a page on our website with more information about the photo on the front of the card. Right now, we are selling various card designs including Christmas, thank you, birthday, and general cards. We are using the profits from our business to help save for college.
We were wondering if you would consider sharing our cards (which you can find at acastrocards.etsy.com) or website (acastrocards.com) with the members of your astronomy society or anyone else you think might appreciate them? Additionally, we would be so grateful if you kept us in mind if your society ever needs birthday cards, Christmas cards, thank you cards, etc.
